About Alandale

Tucked into a more mature section of Wilmington, Alandale offers affordable homes with easy access to the entire Cape Fear Region. Situated between North College Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, the Alandale community borders the area referred to as King's Grant.

Alandale is located near transportation corridors to provide easy access to the area's most popular destinations. It is just seven minutes from the heart of the Historic Downtown Wilmington area and a mere ten minutes from Wrightsville Beach. It lies just three miles from the campus of the University of North Carolina Wilmington and less than five minutes from the North Campus of Cape Fear Community College.

Alandale Real Estate

This neighborhood is well-established and traditional in design. Alandale features mostly single story homes with ample yards, nicely kept and invested with mature landscaping and trees. A great many of the homes are finished in brick with surrounding yards accented with native Dogwoods and Carolina Pines. It can be a great neighborhood to raise families or to begin the home owning experience.

A majority of the homes in the Alandale community were built in the mid-sixties to the early seventies with the craftsmanship of that era clearly noticeable. Alandale does not have a homeowners' association.

Both shopping and dining choices are very near-by on College Road or Market Street. Alandale is strategically located in the "Mid-Town" district of Wilmington making everywhere a short journey.
