About Riverlights in Wilmington
RiverLights is a new, master-planned, waterfront community taking shape in Wilmington. With seven home builders and almost 1400 acres along the Cape Fear River, developers envision a coastal community like no other in Wilmington. Site plans and amenities have a distinct flavor capturing the coastal legacy of Wilmington and her undeniable uniqueness.
The property is found just off the newly renovated River Road and will soon be home to a variety of coastal living options including single-family homes, apartments, condominiums, townhomes and custom retail use lots. All underway right under our nose.
Waterfront homesites will encompass amazing views of the Cape Fear River, Barnard's Creek, Mott's Creek or the community lake as well as the indigenous wetland eco-environment. The community lake is the focal point of the community fed by two fresh-water wells creating a magnificent recreational water feature with an average 10' depth, perfect for paddle boarding or kayaking.

Amenities
The list of amenities is vast. Beacon Point is planned as a communal lawn gathering point suitable for mid-summer concerts or holiday caroling. The Boardwalk at RiverLights will stretch along the Cape Fear shore to accommodate evening strolls or bikers. Live Oak Commons is planned to house retail shops, restaurants, and community hammocks. Ember park is planned adjacent to The Boardwalk at RiverLights and will be equipped with fire pits to facilitate oyster roasts or marshmallow roasting with additional plans to host food trucks and cooking classes. Driftwood Park is planned as the access point to the Cape Fear River for all of your water adventures. Portside Park is planned for children designed with inspiration from the structure of a shrimp boat. The Lake Loop is planned for walkers with three miles of trails around the 38-acre lake. And, Boat Builder Park is planned as a haven for non-powered vessels with storage and future lessons for residents wishing to paddle board and kayak.
